Last 2 subjects in my MBA

Tomorrow, I will start my last 2 modules for my MBA. After the long run for this extra effort, hope that everything run smoothly and achieve what I target to achieve.

After go thru such a meaningful course, the whole courses bring me an open eye on business management especially on the cost, operation, process, inventory, value a company's financial status, communication skill, etc...

Tomorrow, I will start with my Managerial Economy. What is economy?? After read thru the class notes, I still not able to catch how it can apply in our current business scenario...

Next week, I will continue with my Supply Chain Management which I am dealing with it every moment...

Sugar price in Malaysia increase

Oh my God!! Reported that sugar price will increase RM1 per kg. On top of it, Malaysia government will impose consumer tax of 4% which from their research mentioned that it will not burden Malaysian. With previous audit report, Malaysian government overspend of RM36 bil. If 1 year over spend RM36 bil., then 50 years overspend = ??

God, can you pls help us from this crisis that our salary is not increase but all the raw materials for the food are increase?? How are we going to survive??

Hurray!!! Last 2 subjects for my MBA

Whew!! I already completed my 3rd last subjects for my MBA. This is something that I should celebrate... However I do not feel happy at all...

Can we be friend?

This morning, I send my car to Perodua Service center to fix some of the things such as anti-rust, centralized power window, etc. Total turn around time to get the things done is nearly 2 hours.

So I was thinking to make use of the idle time of 2 hours by visit food court at Jalan Patani. However there was some kind of heavy rain when I was on my way to the food court so I stop at the market at Jalan Patani.

Since it was raining, so I decided to buy a durian from a uncle who sell durians (Malaysian favourite fruit) inside the market. While I enjoy the durian, the uncle asked me a lot of questions such as where I live, where I work, how high is my education, etc... The last question he asked was can we be friend??

I was astonish with his question. I was so lucky that I already finish consume the durian and I told him that I want to wash my hand then I quickly run away...

Whew!! All kinds of people in this world.... Don't know what else...

My new and final MBA semester

My new and final semester for my MBA started at 3rs Oct 2009. The semester estimate will complete by end of Jan 2010 or beginning of Feb 2010.

Well, another bz period... Final semester, no matter how, fight for what I want in this semester...

Deepavali

Tomorrow is Deepavali. So what will happen??

A lot of people (regardless India, Malay, Chinese) on leave today so that they can have 4 days stretch holidays.

What next??

For those who are working, will receive a lot of out of office reply...

What else??

My company's toilets will have toilet paper shortage....

Why??

Coz those workers are all Indian!!!

Hurray!!! I finish another 2 subjects for my MBA

Today I posted my exam answer to my lecturer....for my corporate finanace... So another 2 subjects completed for this semester...

I will take a long rest next week due to Raya holiday of 2 days, then I will take additional 3 days to clear my annual leave.

Well, I learn TVM, total value money in this semester. This is a very important concept that everyone should have this concept. It means, if we have $$ in our early year, try to use it to generate more income with that early age of $$.

Lucky, I am taking MBA. Or else, I won't know how to use the theory... and I feel that it is very practical.

Another subject that I just completed is Strategic Management... All I need to do is understand my own weakness and strength then my competitors' threat and opportunity. So another subject that I will need it for my life.

After suffer for another 6 wks, I plan to play game first then start my work after my game. Wuahahaha... This is the only time to play... and I am sure I will play very hard to hit my previous record!!!

Raining day

Recently, northern of Peninsular Malaysia always raining and Penang is one of the lucky state that receive the gift from God.

The best part of raining day is the weather is very cool... And this is the best time to sleep.

My best experience sleep during raining night is someone who love me with full hearted, hug me and wishper at my ear that "Dear, I love you"

That is why whenever there is raining day, my friends whoever asked me what I want to do during that time, I will tell them that I want to sleep or I am sleepy....

Today is my birthday...

How do I feel after so many years in this planet??

Someone told me that I have everything I want... I admit it that I have everything I want even though they are not the best compare to others but I feel the combination that I have are the best combination and I always appreciate with what I have past and especially now....
1st though this morning:- I am lost on what I want in my life and I am lost on what is my destinate... What I want in my life?? Easy going?? Famous?? Got $$ to spend for what I want and what I like??

After a few minutes though, I will choose my life to be easy going and got $$ to spend for what I want and what I like... At the same time, I wish that my family members can have enough $$ for their living too... I also wish I can spend more time with them after I got a lot of $$... I wish I can choose a good topic for my PhD in future.... I wish I am no longer stay apart with my husband... I wish I will always have 4 wishes and my last wish will be I will always have 4 wishes.... I wish... I wish... I wish....I wish....

Birth is a beautiful process especially for a mum. I asked my friend who is pregnant 8 mths today on how do she feel... She told me that is a great feeling... And I also told her that this is the first thing she enjoy to be a mother...

Life is not easy for the past few years. A lot of things happen and I growth from time to time... Now I am continue to growth... My col., friends, family members and classmates always guide me and coach me... From there, I growth... Now, my day there are nothing except busy... I think this is a good thing for me..... However, I don't have much time to spend with my family... This is the price that I have to pay when I want to earn bigger $$... Then how to make my life has a lot of $$ without paying anything????? As of now, I still feel that something good happen to us, then we will loose something else that we appreciate...

For exmpale, today is a day that a lot of my colleagues' last day because of previous re-struturing decision from management and they are leaving today. Most of them work in my company for more than 10 years... so the price that they have to pay is to leave the company but they will get a lot of $$... So I wander when is my turn... So that I can keep my retirement fund in bank and I just enjoy the interest...

Friendship is something that might last forever. "Might" means the level of the friendship will change when we are in different environment, different though, different etc... It could become better or better worst...

I have 2 birthday celebration today. My colleague buy my lunch at Mc. D. (my favourite fast food) and another birthday celebration with my theraphysits... Look with photos below:-

Working days during mid semester break

During Uni time, short semester break was 1.5 mths but now my semester break is 1 week... However, better than none... That will be more tiring...

Working adult and study is really not easy, especially will all sorts of challenges such as team members all busy at the same time... Then no one will help to coordinate the project progress...

At the Sunday, I already start work on my uncomplete task until mid night... Same goes for my Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday... Really tire and tight up...

Such as this morning, one of my US counterpart ask me "How are you?". My replied is "Exhausted." Well, he stop for a while and I start to laugh... then he laugh after me... That is because he never expect that I will said such a word...

My another US counter part also called me this morning, she keep on appology on her delay and cause the whole report delay during the teleconference session...

Well, the whole morning, I was in teleconference by try to push 1 responsibility out from my list, after another 2 teleconferences, my work load increase... Oh my... am I too kind to take all the responsibility in??

Probably my answer is no, it just I don't know how to say no...

Then another stupid manager escalated me... Well, I just assume that now is her pre-period session... What to do?? Life is tough and challenge is coming every day...and everyday has unfinish job....If my emotion change by base on what she said then I will in low mood today and I can't perform other task better.

Well, today is another day stay in office until 10.30pm...

End of 1st half of semester

Today is our last day for our 1st half of semester... Below is our lunch with our classmate and our communication lecturer in our classroom....

Wow!! We called for Pizza Dominos delivery to deliver at the guard house in front of PSDC. Even though not everyone is turn up yet, but we also enjoy the food... As we called for 10 flavors to test since most of us are the 1st timer to try Domino Pizza... Actually the test is not bad...

Khus asked about next trip during the lunch.... I suggested to go to Cameron Highland and Fadzil will prepare the sea food to bring together so that we can taste the sea food with fresh vege since I am yet to visit Cameron Highland...

Well, we need to fix a date to visit Cameron then...

Hi! My blog follower, long time no see

It has been more than a month after my last post. My blog follower must be very boring that nothing new published in my blog...

Well, there are a lot of things happened but I was too busy to update it...

First of all, my company's order trend seems like bush up until I have no time for other stuffs but only change for material delivery.... Secondly is re-structure successfully in my company... My workload suddenly increase another 300%... Thirdly, I am going to finish my another paper's exam, I will left only 6 papers to go.... Hye... Working + study's life really tough especially when my workload suddenly increase another 300%......Fourth, my friend is getting married for this coming Aug 2009... Good news but shock.....

At least order trend is bush up, then my life become more challenging.... After this week's leave, next week's life will be more challenging than ever... because I have a lot of pending AI need to clear.... Very unfortunately but lucky is that I will free from study for another 2 wks... but really need to clear my AI.....

What is next??? A lot of things need to do, such as my team mate told me about frame work of presentation that until now I am yet to understanding it... Need to find more case study to understand it... I start to buy my next subjects' text book which to use it link together with the logics/theories that I had learn...

There are a lot of job vacancy from oversea.... Really feel that I want to try but my parent is getting older, if I just go off like this, then I will have even less time with them!!! Worth it??? No, of course, I only have 1 pair of parent...

Communication for manager... This is a good subject especially I need to use my experience to put in my assignment and exam... It is like a movie that replay my life and re-value my previous action... and a-lert myself not to repeat again....

Ok, time to go back to my exam now...

Hospitalization Leave

I was hospitalize 2 wks ago for 4 days then MC for the whole week. Now I am taking another 2 days sick leaves...

So when I want to update my sick leave in my HR system, I released that our company has hospitalization leave...which is surprice me as this is the first time I admitted to hospital (or I called it hotel instead of hospital cause I always eat & sleep there)...

Well, now only I released that I have 21 days of sick leave per year (after 5 yrs working, previously was 14 days sick leave) & I also have hospitalization leave which are different leaves that I have...

Kulim Learning Centre

I studied in Kulim learning centre while I was in my MBA 1st semester. Well, my original plan is to study in Pg learning centre, however since I am not able to find Pg's learning centre, so I registerred my MBA in Kulim centre.

During 1st semester, I met up a lot of new friends and seniors. I am lucky that they are helpful and friendly to me especially I am not very good interact with people...

I have a lot of sweet memories in Kulim learning centre such as group studies in restaurants, visit UUM just to pass up our assignments, argueing about our points on assignments during midnight (I disturbed David & Wendy middle of the night on Law assigment, the next day I slept at the passengers seat in the car but both of them need to awake to drive back from UUM to BM, hahaha...), be matchmaker for unmarried couples (even though not successful to match them but we enjoy the fun), teasing each other like primary school kids such as David with Rose, Jacky with Rose, Jacky make Rose pregnant that cause Rose drop her MBA, etc...

Bitter memories such as I kena tarik telinga when I didn't finished my group assignment on time, our class's oldest senior scolded me stupid & fool girl & I pretend duno... Rushing for assignments by burning midnight candle, etc..

I felt that I was in honeymoon rather than study as I have more sweet memories than bitter memories..

Well, with Kulim learning centre close down, students who study there will be impacted... I wish them all the best by either succefully transfer to Pg learning centre or they can study in Sintok for 1 semester or wait until UUM's disposition annoucement...

For those who plan to transfer to Pg learning centre, I am looking forward that we will study together again and create more fun environment during study...

Well, for those who wait for UUM's disposition annoucement, then I will graduate first because I left only 8 papers that I will take in this semester & next semester....

MBA - 3rd Semester

Tomorrow is my new semester re-open (it should be last week but lecturer cancel our class, so tomorrow will be the 1st class for my new semester).

Well, I receive a lot of comments while I am doing my MBA... My ex-boss asked me to re-consider total papers that I take every semester as I am taking 4 papers in each semester. What is her objective?? Who knows.. 1 thing I know is during my Medical leave, no one back up me and every issues need my attention to solve even though those colleague knows that I am still in medical leave...

This same goes during my exam. Usually I will take 1 week off during my exam however I noticed that my ex-boss unlikely can let me go for a week.. Since my organization already re-structure, definately I will request for a back up during my absent or else forever I can't clear my leave which I feel unfair for me.. As I told my ex-boss, I don't want to be VIP in a company or else I will only get 9 months pampasan when my company no longer need me..

As usual, I will take 4 papers in this semester. 2 papers in 1st half => MIS & Communication for managers; 2 papers in 2nd half => Strategic management & corporate finance. Well, I am looking forward for every papers and the challenges even though I have enough challenges for my work... :( And I will plan for 1 week off during my exam for each half so that I can concentrate on my exam....

There is 1 thing happen to my old learning centre. UUM terminated my old learning centre starting from this semester.... Well, I would consider myself lucky as I transferred to Pg's learning centre since last semester... So my seniors, classmates & juniors are now need to rush to UUM to find the solution. Latest update is that either they study in UUM campus or they will have to stop for 1 semester while UUM setup their branch in Pg/Kulim..... Good move for me...

All the best for me in my MBA 3rd semester...

Medical Leave

I seldom use my medical leave after working for years. However this year, I almost use all my medical leave...

I am taking medical leave since last week Monday until end of this week due to my lower back pain... Root cause is I maintained the same position in long hour.

Well, at first, I though the pain was gone and I were ready to continue work last week Wednesday, however after I sit for more than 2 hours during my admission, the pain come back again.

I tried again by having a trip from Pg to Kuala Kangsar, the pain came back again. After I told doctor about it, he extend my medical leave until end of this week and doctor also suggested me to use back support to maintain correct sitting position. At the same time, I will continue my physiotheraphy until this Saturday morning.....

Lucky that doctor extend my medical leave, as I am so unlucky that I am having running nose and cough at the same time.

Invitation by Dr. Zuriana

Right after our exam & presentation for Management Accounting, we were invited by Dr. Zuriana to visit UUM & have lunch with her family at her house in Changloon at 23rd May 2009.

This is the first time that we are invited by lecturer and we also use this opportunity to link up our classmates' relationship. It really works that for my group that already start our relationship, we are getting closer after the trip. For those classmates who we are not familiar with, we start to understand each other...

Well, we had more than 50% (10 from 16 ppls) of participation from our classmates. Of course, we are the most "meriah" group when we stop by in Gurun R&R. This is the best time that we tease each other outside the classroom, proposed crazy idea such as object one of our classmate's marriage with the reason that she didn't give us the invitation card, etc... :)

When we reach UUM, we visited UUM's library.. Well, I went to UUM personally a few times but I was not able to have chance to visit it. After this visit, I would suggest that we all can save our $$ to spend in old town, startbucks, Nasi Kandar in UUM's library.... However 1 thing no good to study in library is no food allow... :(

Additional trip to Khursani's house, Heama & me had another round of makan...that is after 30 minutes we left from Dr.'s house... Wow, I was full until midnight... on that particular day...

Well, study Master is not only assignment...assignment...assignment... or work ...work...work... This is our time to have fun!!! Thanks for your support & make the trip more fun.

Finally my 2nd semester in MBA is end by today

At last, I had submitted my 2 exam papers on Saturday and Sunday separately... Wao... So tension about what had happen past 1 whole week... Assignment...assignment...assignment... + exam....exam...exam...and exam...

This semester, 1st time, I had 2 take home exams within 1 week.. At the same time, I need to cater for urgent issues and meeting in office...As usual, I applied 1 week leave to prepare my exam and assignments. I am glad that I prepare my schedule early...

However, unexpected that my group and me took almost 4 hours per 1 accounting's exam questions..... Even though we have only 3 questions in our take home exam but not an easy assignment for us... I am lucky that our group start to do our discussion early of the week so we know the difficult level of the questions. However, when I think back, actually this is the only time we seriously spend our time to perform the accounting exercises so the level of difficult is definite for us.

At last, I can completed it on time but burn midnight candle light almost every night...

2nd take home exam, marketing management.... by propose Marketing plan for SME.. Well, the company that assigned has no annual report to perform further analysis on market position even though I tried to call to that particular company, the HR manager is so firm that their company's annual report is not allow for study purposes...

Since I have no choice and request to change company last minute...burn my midnight candle light every night for this paper too.... At last, I managed to finish it on time even though I can submit to lecturer latest on Monday....

Re-structuring

Well, heard that re-structuring will annouce next week but too bad that I will on leave for whole week due to my 2 exams...

Not sure what will happen to me... All the material analysts looking forward not to perform excess and obsolescent every quarter again... However it seems like outsource activities will continue, inventory management will become more and more important in future. So material analyst's role will become more and more important in near future...

Approve for VSS - lucky?

As I mentioned, the vss package that offered in my company is not bad however there is a criteria:-
1. 50 yrs old and above
2. Work in Agilent for more than 20 yrs...

So after mid of Apr's announcement, there are some of us applied it... Well, 1 of my college applied with 1st level managers already approved her application but her application rejected in 2nd level of management...

So, submit the application doesn't mean that you can get it after review by management.. Even though the package is attractive for us....

There was 1 time, I want to apply the program so much but when I start to ask myself, what I want to do after take this VSS.. I have no answer for that.. probably I will just eat and sleep at home... then I will start get fat......

Secondly, my 1st level of manager and 2nd level of manager won't agree to let me go... Reason:- they want to help me to build up my career path in my company...This is what I always appreciate what my bosses had done for me and I likes to work with them....

At last, I just make myself forget about the program... continue to work hard like cow.... go back home at 11pm at night..... working my US counter part in the morning and night...

Credit card usage in petrol station

Now only I know that if we purchase gas at petrol station with credit card (not pay in counter), they will hold RM200 per transaction for 9 days...

So whoever want to use credit card at petrol station, if you want to avoid this RM200 to be hold for 9 days, you may want to ensure your credit balance still have more than RM200 + $$ that you want to purchase gas. Or you may swap ur credit card at the counter.

Bye bye to my sister's hamsters

Both of my sister's hamster left us already... The female hamster died few days ago... The male hamster died just now after I took it out for fresh air...

According to my sister, the female hamster bite the male hamster before she died...So I suspect that they were sick before they died...

Hope that my sister won't take in any more hamsters.... or else I will miss them especially this pair who always enlighted my life when I get bored...

After gone thru this simple and short story which brings me a lot of thoughs.... that how many of us can do it as the husband in the story did? Or the most important things is will we say "Darling, I love you" to our partner if we face the most unlucky things in our life? Or we just get angry, scold, blaming??

I always remind myself that whatever happened is already happened, life still go on.... Good or bad, the choice is on my hand... I hope that my friends can get something from this story....

Precaution steps when accident in traffic light junction

My mum meet an accident last night at the traffic light junction which is near to my parent's house.

When we tried to log a police report that we follow the green light by turn in to another road with hope that we are able to claim the other party's insurance for the lost that we had. However, the sarjan told us that this is a draw case due to the other party's lawyer will fight back the case by buy traffic system, etc.... even though the car owner admitted that he violate the traffice rules. Well, I noticed that the sarjan asked about witness of this accident, time of the accident happen, etc... However we fail to provide such a good evidence to prove that we are follow the rule... So I am wandering how to solve this issue.... as in Malaysia wide, there is only 7 traffic lights has camera and we are so unfortune that our traffic light don't have such facilities. Is our government so poor to place this kind of camera??

So I feel very uncomfortable if there is a accident that happen in the traffic light and cause road user die which the road user might not able to claim anything due to lawyers from the other insurance's company fight back the case by turning the right thing to wrong thing.

I think below are the few things we might able to do whenever there is accident happen:-

1. Take down the time (until second) of the accident happen

2. Get witness (usually car behind you) by getting their permission to be a witness. If they agree to be the witness, pls take their personal information such as their car plate number, name, IC#. Ask them what they see in the accident. If you have recorder, this might help a lot on our side.

3. Take photo of the incident. Remember not to remove anything before you take the photo.

4. Log a police report for claim purposes. Do not negotiate with the other party, if they tried to threaten you that MCB will be waive etc if you do this or that... You can log another police report on the threatening. For the repair cost, sometimes waive the MCB is cheaper than you spend on the repair cost... So just think about it..

5. Log police report within 24 hours (standard procedure) by provide all the evidence that we had taken just now...

Until now, this is what I can think of the steps to protect ourselves. If you have more inputs, I am welcome especially everyone of us are the road users. So pls be the witness if you can for any accident.. Even though the process is tedious, but you can help to make things right on the road...

My sister's hamster is pregnant

I went back to BM last night due to my mum met an accident and need to lodge a police report.

Since I miss my family members so much, so I went back to BM. I also spend some time to visit my sister's hamters.

I noticed that the female hamters looks slightly fat on the stomach... I suspect it is pregnant. However I am not so sure due to it's body shape looks slightly fat since a month ago and she was not feeling well at that time. However I saw her was so active, trying to create fun but due to her stomach, sometimes she can't even turn her body but lying there with the four legs moving... She use to sleep in the toy house but she sleep at the roof of the toy house now.

These are change symptons that I noticed ...

I wish that she will have a group of healthy babies...

Marketing Management Presentation in Class

After Saturday's presentation for our marketing management presentation, almost every groups work until 1am in the morning, included me work in office until 1++am last night.

So most of our group presentation will represent our yesterday's presentation then will continue with our today's presentation.

1st presentation group today, might due to work until 1am in the morning, so excess cow milk gave by an Indian woman become excess milk gaveby an Indian woman... that cause classmates think about the other source of the milk.

There is another group presented about worms... I am interesting in this topic.. This might help my father...

VSS package

At last, VSS package is out... Due to the package is different from each region, so not able to enclose in my blog.... Interested to know, pls contact me but need to keep to yourself...

Well, I really... really...really...really.. want to take the package then rest for a while. I don't really rest since start work until now. Since start work in Agilent, I will be added new work load... and new things....due to I am a fast learner for almost everything...

Probably can take this chance to explore in share market.. since now the share market is so unstable now a day... However need to find a cheap and reliable website trading like citigroup... but I am not sure whether it will cheap for outsider...

Probably this might be a good chance to change a new environment and try something new that I never do it before or I am not good in..

My sister's hamsters

I would like to share with the group here that my sister's hamsters are very cute and very active. Whenever I go near to them, the female one will start to play around and show me what she knows... I recorded down their action, etc..

However too bad that the movie's format not able to recognize by my computer...

So no chooice next time when I got chance to convert it to common readable format so that everyone will have chance to watch it..

Waiting for the announcement - retrenchment

Well, I was busy for a while and tire due to lack of exercise...

Today, my cols. are waiting for the annoucement... However now is already 10.30pm... the announcement still yet to come out but I can see a lot of my cols log on and wait for the news...

Well, as I said I really...really ... hope that to take the package and leave.. however due to some constraints that factors that I need to consider, I have no choice and stay back.....

What is next?? After this round, will my company retrench again?? Answer is:- .... guess...

I took more than 30 minutes to reach my office this morning due to heavy rain. Of course, this is unusual because I left my house about 7.20am, by the time, I reached office is nearly 8am.

Along the way, traffic jam every where the reasons are too many cars, too many inconsiderate drivers, float and accident.

The accident happened in front of Sunshine supermarket's traffic light junction, other drivers are kepo to know what is happening and there are drivers that not very considerate to cross the road but end up other inconsiderate drivers not give way, etc that cause the road damn jam...

Everyone who used this road will talk about the accident... Hye.... This explain how efficient is our pihak berkuasa to remove the road obtacles to avoid kepo drivers to slow down their car speed and cause another traffic jam.

After Sunshine's traffic light junction, there are several area of the main road is float... Even the road in front of ISO Tech until Jabil, the water is about half of my leg... So I had to drive slowly and need to ensure that the water wont' go into my car...

At last, I reached my office nearly 8am and I pamper myself by trying nasi lemak in my office's cafeteria. The taste is good.. Good try...

Hot topic in during lunch ..

Since our CEO announce to retrench 2700 ppl.. The most hot topic that being discuss during our lunch time is the package and how the retrenchment process will go...

There are a lot of saying for this retrenchment..

Some said, it will be a selection; some said it is voluntary; some said it is mix of selection and voluntary...

Those workers who planned to leave the company long time ago, loyal employees (more than 10 yrs to 35 yrs of service), etc... hope that the offer would be good... Well, who knows...

According to bosses, there will be a restructuring but how to restructure? No one will know until next week...

My company is going to retrench 2700 ppl

It has been a while I didn't update my blog...Due to all the inventory activities going on last week and next week as well...
Well, there will more to come... due to inventory clean up, etc...


At the same time, I am looking for a job...


Job...job....job.....I am looking for a job now.. Anyone got a suitable job out there suitable for me??

At last, my company start to retrench more than 1000 ppl due to current economy situation...

Well, 2700 ppl is about 25% of current permanent employees in my company for the group that I am belongs to .... That means, 4 permanent employee, 1 will be retrench...

Currently everyone is waiting for the package... hopefully the package offer is not bad and I can settle for my car loan... Then I will have peace of mine.. Well, the best timing for me to leave is after Nov.. Hopefully, they will retrench batch by batch...

Anyway, there are few hopes here:-
1. Complete my master, and looking for a job in university as a tutor, start an education life instead of corporate life...
2. Take the package, hopefully they will offer temporary job with higer salary coz ppl reduce but work load still the same...
3. Other companies will want me...

Presentation in class

After transfered from Kulim study centre to Pg's study centre, there is 1 thing I learned.. prepare presentation slides within 30 minutes in a group and present it during the class...

This skill helped me to prepared my presentation slides on Thursday morning (1 brain compare to few brains in the class), review with bosses after lunch and present it in 6pm-7pm's meeting with senior manager.

Well, the content is not bad, just did some amendment... I guess this is the biggest improvement that I had.. Also, this is my determination to change my strategic (after had chats with lecturers on my weaknesses) to avoid my bosses always tease me on my presentation package....

Study leave

Yesterday, I suppose to on leave at home and do my assignment, but due to I have teleconf at 2-3pm, so I was in Queensbay mall to pretend work from home (what to do, salary is too less to pasang internet at home, some more my father is jobless and need to support my own and my family's expenses). The teleconf end at 3.10pm. Right after the teleconf, I decided to take 3 days' study leave due to my individual assignment and take home exam soon.. However my boss propose me to take 2.5 days with minimum support..... Hye...

There is a friend of mine said it is better for us to focus 1 thing at a time.. So I take his advice, by take study leave and settle all my assignment and exam... As both of them carrying 40% of the marks... so it is the determine of A or A-.. Since my target is A so...need to put more effort on this...

Sorry boss... you have to play my part now.. no time for you...

My individual assignment

Now I am start worry about my individual assignment. As my initial plan is to complete it by this week because I will out of office on Friday. However today is Friday already but there are so many things on inventory issues prompted up and additional it is a call from top management... Hye... hopefully today's out of office still manage to have some time to finish my individual assignment...

Struggling now.....

Lesson to learn, assignments must complete within 1 wk... no more delay... even though group assignment.....Better find more commitment team members in a group or else sufferring like now...

Shampoo = body shampoo??

This morning, I planned not to wash my hair coz I already washed it yesterday. However when I want to get my body shampoo, I got my hair shampoo!! Hye... Duno what I thinking of at that time???

Quarterly activity is on going:- E&O scrubbing, CM liability claim scrubbing and CM inventory deposit scrubbing

Every 2nd month of the quarter, I change my identity from Material Analyst to data scrubber. Why??

Because I have minimum 6 files to scrub and must complete latest by 26th Mar 2009 for buy off package preparation by management. Actually this is all manual workaround especially BOM's information is not up to date, item attributes not are not reflect as per daily operation, marketing's UU is always "??" for me, etc...

Well, this quarter even worst. The reasons are:-
1. I obtained approval from my company's data quality team on the yield lost information and planning % to uploaded into Item Master database. So more items appear as excess inventory and proposed to reserve... During economy downturn, no $$ to spend, now need to be more careful on the data scrubbing... Since I was too busy last week, even I already received the raw files on Monday, I am yet to start scrubbing until today...Or else, I really can't sleep tonight.
2. I have assignment to complete by end of this week (in fact already completed), but now I must complete individual assignment by this week latest by Friday... .
3. Economy down turn, inventory reduction is driving like hell. Almost everyday is talking about MOQ reduction, lead time reduction, exception to push out and cancel, etc... Some more need to provide full picture to management on the MOQ reduction overall profile, lead time reduction overall profile, etc... This one even worst due to myself need to go into details on the preparation, especially the numbers is not look good, need to deeply ask why,why,why,why,why...
4. My green belt project targeted to submit end of this month...Need to review and top up the missing information before next review of this week or else not able to complete it by next week's review...
5. Buyer name clean up... delay more than 3 wks already.. still not able to have time to do it... Sooner or later, buyers will come to me on the buyer name change...
6. Forecast tracking script must complete before I organize a meeting with OF and marketing on the process improvement...Estimate to finish by end of this month also (I can only try my best).. What to do?? I accidentally deleted my scripts previously, now I have to redo the script...


Wow!! More and more things to do... but I have only 24 hours x 7 days...

Not sure whether I got enough time to sleep for the next few weeks... and not sure what else will come in tomorrow coz tomorrow is a brand new week!!!

Mini budget from DPM

DPM declare mini budget yesterday 4pm. There are 3 things that I am looking forward:-
1. House tax relief of RM10k per year for 3 years.
2. Pursuing Master degree will obtain RM10k's tuition fees
3. Government saving bond, with annual interest rate of 5%, quarterly return and maturity of the bond is 3 yrs.

However, I am still looking forward on the details for above 3 items.

My gingival

I just plugged out my left bottom wisdom teeth few months ago.. Now I feel that my right bottom side of gingival start paint... I wander whether my another wisdom teetch will grow...

Now I start wander whether there is any way to avoid the paint come back happen again...

Remember that my previous wisdom teeth, I was not able to sit or sleep... not able to do anything...

Exercises after work

I played basketball gam with my collegues on Thursday after work... I enjoyed that game very much especially after Tuesday's game...

Well, working in office need to find time for exercise or else my brain can't really perform well...

Actually I have an idea to get me exercise everyday however my idea was not supported 100% by my friends and my family members. My idea is to cycle to work every day so that I can save petrol expenses, help in environment and sweating everyday. Their objection is my life is more important than the small little petrol expenses... That is quite true also... But I have no reason to go back early after work!!! LOL...

Since not able to cycle to work, so alternative way is to go to sport complex... Well, who knows... I always lazy to sweat unless force to ...

My Green Belt Project

I just reviewed my green belt project with my project champion... He already agreed with my date change and goal statement change....

After the sharing session with my project champion, he is very support with my current project and encourage me to go ahead to do black belt project...

Hooooraiii, as per my expectation that my project can use for black belt for entire company especially my project is tie with inventory $$ which management are very concern about it now... due to economy down turn...

I noticed that my blog's performance is a bit slow now... Probably is due to my photo, games, slide shows, other website's linkage, etc...

At last, I am able to put up my slides show, favourite link, video bar, etc in my blog...

It seems like blogspot is easier to use compare to Yahoo 360. However, too bad is that blogspot don't have the smiley icon for me to add in during I compose my blog...

Just need to remember that technology will change and update every day... If not follow up closely, then I will lost track like what I face during my first blog....

I consider myself lucky is because my hand itchy, so I can try a lot of things provided I have enough time and resource....
