Now a days, there are more people using e-mail. In order for us to use our email effectively and meeting our expectation, there are 25 golden rules of e-mail. Below is the summary of the 25 rules:-
1. Beware of hoaxes
2. Don't perpetuate pointlessness
3. Get a permanent address
4. Consolidate addresses
5. Don't hand out your address like candy
6. Do not use "Reply All" blindly
7. BCC is your friend
8. Subject lines matter
9. One topic per message
10. Brevity is the soul of wit
11. Send plain text if in doubt
12. Run antivirus software
13. Avoid huge attachments
14. Attach what you promised
15. Don't open attachments or click links you aren't expecting
16. Trim excess in replies
17. NO ALL CAPS
18. Know your audience
19. Don't e-mail angry
20. Recall/Undo a sent message
21. Put rules to work on your inbox
23. Declare "e-mail bankruptcy" once in a while
24. Avoid confidential info
25. Create a useful signature
